Oktoberfestin lauantain p��esiintyj� tulee Puolasta! Ryhm�n uusi Nordic Sounds nime� kantava levy julkaistaan juuri Suomen vierailun kynnyksell�. Levy sis�lt�� mm. tuttuja suomalaisia s�vellyksi� upeasti uudelleen sovitettuna. 

"Music derives from other existing music", this is the still up-to-date idea of Jarek Kostka - Polish jazz pianist, arranger and author of the "Nordic Jazz project", which came into existence together with his colleagues.

Kostka - an unconventional musician with a jazz background - believes that the most important thing in music is creativity in improvisation.

The "Nordic Jazz Project" is an attempt to find a new idea in the Scandinavian music, especially in the work of great composers, Edward Grieg and Jean Sibelius.

Jarek carefully selects the rich musical heritage of the North. Some work is consciously shortened, reworked and the very corn, the substance is extracted and this special "something"  becomes an impulse for jazzmen�s improvisation.

 The restraint and lyricism of the Scandinavian music deeply touches the sensitivity of musicians and opens up a broad spectrum for them.
